All this time and effort you have put into creating your nice new website, now you want it to be discovered and enjoyed by all. Or you may be a business trying to reach a wider audience. Now just for a second think, when you are looking for something on the web, where do you go, Yep, Google, Yahoo or some other “Search Engine”. When these search engines index pages in their search results there modus operandi is SEO. As you know by now SEO can be applied to images, words, page structure and the list goes on. Maybe the most important SEO technique is to have many inbound links, other websites linking to you (Not Exchange Linking). If other websites are independently linking to you, that’s good enough for Google, sort of like a stamp of approval. So the best way to get other websites to link to you is to create useful and rich content. But at the same time there is no magic SEO formula, so do not abandon your actual website chasing the rainbow for the pot of gold you will never find. SEO is trial and error, and the best thing to do is stick with your sire slowly optimising each new addition as you create a rich website full of useful content.
